May 08,2026

Mr. Qu Ming, Chairman of Sanmark, attended the Symposium on Zero Tariffs, Infinite Opportunities co-hosted by the Embassy of China in Kenya and the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya on Monday, 27 April 2026 at 11:00 AM, and gave an on-site interview.

Below is the content of the interview:

"Currently, our production facility in Kenya employs about 100 local staff. We have always been committed to building on the local industrial base, continuously deepening our presence along the industrial chain, and steadily advancing industrial upgrading.

At this stage, our core operation is processing fresh fruit into crude oil. Right now, we are increasing investment in production equipment, with a focus on introducing and adding oil refining facilities, to achieve deeper processing — upgrading crude oil into high-quality refined oil and significantly increasing product value-added.

Looking ahead, we plan to further expand our presence across the industrial chain, including bottling operations right here in Kenya. Our goal is to build a complete industrial system that covers fresh fruit processing, oil refining, and finished product bottling.

The longer the industrial chain and the more complete our local footprint, the more local workers we can employ, creating more jobs for the community. This is how we achieve mutual benefit and shared development — for the company and for the local society."
